About the Role
An experienced Senior DevOps Engineer is required to join the Technical Services (TTO) team within LSEG Markets & Risk Intelligence. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team building the future of financial services on blockchain technology. The team is responsible for delivering and supporting production environments primarily housed within Azure, and integrating software changes into the enterprise environment as part of ongoing projects. The role includes participation in an on-call rota during business hours, with plans to expand support coverage as the business scales. Occasional weekend work may be required to support release testing and deployment activities.
DMI (Digital Markets Infrastructure) is a large-scale, complex project using a range of blockchain architecture patterns with numerous internal and external stakeholders. The focus is on the tokenisation of financial instruments as digital assets. This role offers the chance to work on an innovative and intellectually challenging project backed by the influential reach of the London Stock Exchange Group.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) infrastructure, supporting applications to ensure high-quality software delivery and uptime.
Experience
- Professional experience in DevOps and infrastructure management.
- Enterprise experience with Cloud platforms, preferably Azure, or AWS.
- Proficient in Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Experience managing workloads, provisioning, and deployments on Azure.
- Deep knowledge of security best practices in cloud and DevOps contexts.
- Proven understanding of scaling, availability, and cloud resiliency models, patterns, and designs.
- Ability to anticipate infrastructure challenges and provide innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with blockchain/DLT is desirable.
