As a Senior Engineer reporting to the Bridges Team Leader, you will lead the delivery of technically challenging schemes, taking responsibility for project outcomes and client relationships. This role extends beyond technical design to include management and leadership contributions. You will mentor junior staff, champion their development, and nurture a culture of technical capability. Using your solid background in bridge engineering, you will make key technical decisions and solve complex problems across a diverse portfolio of new build and existing assets, ensuring delivery exceeds client expectations.

Experience
- Providing technical leadership and advice to project team members
- Applying sound independent engineering judgement in project development
- Commercial awareness of engineering project delivery
- Delivery to project quality management systems
- Management of design risks
- Previous relevant experience supervising elements of large, complex structural engineering projects including bridges and retaining walls across new build and existing assets
- Experience leading a team of around 5 engineers, providing leadership support while delivering projects

Qualifications
- BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng or equivalent in Structural or Civil Engineering
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer professional status, or equivalent
