About the Service and Team

- Provide multi-step technical resolutions within iTrent (full induction provided; HR/Payroll knowledge essential, iTrent experience desirable)
- Communicate complex IT solutions clearly and accessibly to non-technical staff and senior managers
- Support customers via video calls and other channels
- Design workflows and write data reports to support system builds

- Generous annual leave entitlement of 25-32 days plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time)
- Enhanced maternity, paternity, shared parental, adoption and dependents leave
- Three volunteering days per year in Kingston
- Hybrid working (role dependent)
- Flexible and agile working arrangements with Google Chromebooks
- Access to a learning and development portal with a range of courses
- Discounts at local shops, restaurants, gyms and leisure centres
- Interest free season ticket loans
- Local Government Pension Scheme
- Bicycle loan facilities and cycle to work scheme

We value authenticity and expect personalised responses demonstrating your motivation and alignment with our STAR values. The closing date is indicative; early application is advised as we may close the vacancy once sufficient applications are received.

We are proud to be a diverse and welcoming borough, committed to creating a workforce that reflects the community we serve. We encourage applications from underrepresented groups and guarantee to interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum essential criteria. We offer family-friendly policies, flexible working, staff engagement forums and inclusive networks to support diversity.

Requirements

Experience
Essential HR and Payroll knowledge is required. Experience with iTrent is desirable but not mandatory as full induction will be provided. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide multi-step technical resolutions is important.

About You
You are a logical thinker who enjoys detective work and connecting the dots to identify root causes. You have excellent communication skills to translate complex IT solutions into clear language for non-technical audiences. You thrive in a dynamic team environment and are motivated to deliver excellent customer service and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
