About the Role
Join London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) as a Senior Manager leading the design and build of the next generation AWS AI platform. You will shape the technical foundation powering LSEG’s most strategic AI initiatives, providing technical leadership to ensure the platform is secure, scalable, resilient, and enterprise grade. This role involves owning core architectural decisions, setting engineering direction, and collaborating closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver a robust platform that accelerates AI adoption across the organisation. Success requires deep AWS expertise, strong engineering governance, and the ability to guide teams in delivering high-quality cloud platform solutions. You will design, develop, and build advanced AWS cloud platform services, lead architectural decisions across provisioning, automation, CI/CD, networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, governance, and cost management. You will also ensure effective implementation of AWS Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones, collaborate with architects, developers, and specialists to improve cloud platform efficiency and reliability, and mentor cloud engineering teams and communities of practice.

Experience
Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud and hybrid AWS platform solutions. Deep expertise with AWS native services and AWS Cloud Adoption Framework. Proven experience building AWS Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones. Strong CI/CD engineering background. Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and GitLab.

Qualifications
Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in cloud computing, AWS, or related fields are desirable but not mandatory. Demonstrated expertise and leadership in AWS platform engineering is essential.
