About the Role
As a Senior Practitioner in the Neighbourhoods Team, you will be a key member of a dynamic team managing complex casework and resources. You will use your expertise to advise, negotiate, advocate and champion the needs of Camden residents. Working closely with the Team Manager, other Senior and Advanced Practitioners, you will help develop best practice by drawing on current research and evidence-based approaches to promote the What Matters strengths-based practice. This approach keeps the person at the centre of all decisions, helping them achieve their outcomes through flexible care planning tailored to individual needs. This role is pivotal in supporting the redesign of ASC Neighbourhood teams to deliver the best possible service to Camden residents. This post requires an Enhanced DBS check and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.

Experience
Proven ability to manage complex casework and resources within a social care setting. Experience in developing and leading policy and practice improvements is desirable.

You will contribute to service development aligned with the Council’s Financial Strategy and lead on service reviews and improvements.
Qualifications
Essential: BA, BSc, DIPSW, CQSW, MA in Social Work or equivalent qualification. You must be registered with Social Work England.
