About the Role
This role sits within the Property Management Service and is accountable for the day-to-day management of the gas service and maintenance, including compliance and measures to improve productivity. Camden Council manages 33,000 homes, of which 12,500 are served by a domestic heating boiler. You will lead the in-house team responsible for maintaining and installing heating systems across Camden’s homes, overseeing compliance, engineer performance, and service delivery to ensure heating appliances are safe, efficient, and maintained to the highest standards. You will contribute to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance, working closely with internal and external stakeholders. This role supports Camden’s ambition to provide a high-performing, resident-focused repairs service that delivers statutory obligations while promoting quality, safety, and value for money. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and requires a Basic DBS check.

Experience
Proven experience in heating services leadership, ideally within residential or social housing. Demonstrated ability to manage teams delivering safe, high-quality work and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in heating or mechanical services are expected. A Basic DBS check is required for this role.
