About the Role
This is a dynamic and rewarding role within the temporary accommodation sector. You will provide proactive housing management services across a diverse property portfolio including council-owned properties, leased accommodation, hostels, and nightly paid accommodation. Your responsibilities will include ensuring properties are well maintained, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations. You will support homeless households in temporary accommodation by maximising tenancy sustainment and managing tenancy breaches. The role involves liaising with landlords and property providers to ensure all obligations are met, as well as carrying out welfare checks and property inspections to safeguard both tenants and housing stock. This position is fixed term for 12 months.
Experience
Experience in housing or property management is essential. A strong understanding of the Housing Act 1996, welfare benefits, and tenancy sustainment is required.
