The Product & Technology organisation plays a key role in delivering this ambition by building products and experiences that serve customers while supporting long-term business growth.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Privacy, on a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave until December 2027. This leadership role focuses on creating clearer, simpler and more transparent experiences while embedding privacy and responsible data use into product development.

You will help the FT become one of the most trusted digital organisations in handling customer data and privacy choices.

What you'll do

- Identify key customer and business problems and translate them into measurable outcomes
- Balance customer trust, regulatory responsibilities, product experience, technical sustainability and business needs
- Champion the customer perspective in privacy product decisions
- Collaborate with Research, Design and Data teams to understand customer perceptions
- Advocate for simple language and meaningful choices
- Lead complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders
- Partner with Legal, Compliance and Data Governance to translate requirements into solutions
- Build strong relationships and alignment across the FT
- Use data, research and experimentation to inform decisions
- Deliver outcomes from discovery through delivery, measurement and iteration
- Provide senior product leadership and mentor other Product Managers

- Establishing clear product principles for responsible data use
- Embedding privacy thinking consistently into product development
- Improving foundations for delivering trustworthy experiences efficiently
- Aligning customer needs, regulatory responsibilities and business priorities
- Developing a clear long-term product direction for Privacy & Trust

Ultimately, customers should feel the FT respects their choices, is transparent about data use, and consistently earns their trust.
