We are seeking a product-focused Senior Software Engineer to join our team. This full-stack role involves working with Java, SQL, React, AWS, and AI tools, ideal for "T-shaped" engineers who thrive on autonomy and technical leadership. You will design, build, and maintain highly scalable distributed systems powering travel experiences for millions globally. This role requires ownership of feature design and implementation, translating business goals into technical solutions, mentoring engineers, leveraging AI tools strategically, architecting resilient systems, and optimizing legacy code to enhance team velocity.

Experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience following a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and concurrent programming
- Strong backend development skills in languages such as Java, C#, Go, or Python
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks like React
- Experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Codex, Claude, or Open Code
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and balance non-functional requirements with delivery speed
- Collaborative leadership skills with experience communicating technical trade-offs to non-technical partners
- Preferred experience with NoSQL databases, GraphQL, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience building tools or abstractions that benefit entire engineering teams is a plus
