About the Role
Join Peabody and make a difference in housing. As a Senior Voids Surveyor, you will play a vital role in turning empty properties into homes, ensuring quality, safety, and value for money for our residents. You will oversee voids in your allocated region, ensuring quick turnaround of empty properties so they are clear, safe, and lettable to residents at a great standard and value. You will carry out pre- and post-inspections to confirm the scope of work is achieved and properties meet lettable standards. This role involves managing and mentoring Assistant Voids Surveyors, sharing your technical expertise. You will collaborate with contractors and internal teams to secure value for money and speed of delivery, monitor budgets, and provide technical advice ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will be operationally active four days per week with one admin day at a regional office location. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively and drive cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Experience in operational delivery with ability to resolve issues quickly and ensure safe, efficient turnaround of properties.

Qualifications
Degree or HND/HNC in Building Surveying or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of Schedule of Rates.
Technical expertise in building surveying and health and safety compliance.
