Hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00. Onsite face to face service with flexibility around these hours required. All managers, including this position, will take part in the out of hours on call duty.

Salary
£38,700 per annum

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for you to take the next step in your career within a supported housing service. This role is ideal for current deputy service managers or experienced support workers (and/or equivalent) seeking progression. We are looking for a natural leader with experience supporting people who have faced homelessness, substance use, mental health challenges, and/or offending backgrounds. You will confidently use your knowledge to empower and lead your team to deliver a seamless, supportive service that helps residents overcome personal challenges and achieve their goals.

You will have a passion for our mission and an understanding of the complex needs of our residents, applying a solutions-based approach in your work. The role includes:
- Leading and motivating a team to deliver high-quality care and support
- Managing complex situations and driving service improvements
- Supporting a team who directly assist individuals in their recovery journey
- Collaborating closely with other teams and organisations to ensure appropriate support
- Risk management, information management, and case recording
- Property and housing management
- Financial management

This is a permanent position, one of two available, with a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity also live separately.

Requirements

Experience
- Supporting people with multiple and complex needs including mental health, homelessness, substance use, and offending backgrounds
- Frontline experience with the ability to empower and lead a team to deliver seamless services

About you
- Confident leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- Ability to take ownership and lead with confidence while working with management support
- Proficient and confident in using IT systems and learning new software
- Skilled in managing complex situations, making decisions, and driving service improvements
- Able to work at pace, use initiative, and be proactive in your approach
