About the Role
The primary purpose of the Site Engineer is to ensure construction projects are completed accurately, safely, and in compliance with all relevant standards. You will provide technical advice, manage on-site staff, and oversee all site activities to ensure alignment with project designs, specifications, and legal requirements. Responsibilities include managing daily site operations, solving construction-related problems, and coordinating with project managers, site managers, supervisors, and suppliers to maintain smooth project delivery. You will also be responsible for maintaining detailed site records, including daily diaries, production control schedules, and photographs, as well as reviewing drawings and raising technical queries with the design team. This role requires close collaboration with the SVD delivery team and managing site and technology engineers.

Experience
- Notable experience delivering infrastructure projects in a site role
- Ability and willingness to guide, mentor, and develop junior staff
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience working on similar projects is desirable but not essential

Qualifications
Essential:
- Civil Engineering related qualification (HNC, HND, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng)
- SMSTS
- First Aid
Desirable:
- Appointed Person and lifting training
- Mental Health First Aid
- Fire Marshalling
