About the Role
As a Solution Architect, you will make a powerful contribution to the people of Westminster by working across the Digital and Innovation profile. Your role involves taking a proactive and relentless approach to delivery, enabling impactful change that improves outcomes for residents, businesses, visitors, and staff.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be varied and dynamic, including creating end-to-end solutions and designs for complex services, ensuring technology compliance with architectural strategy and standards, and working closely with suppliers and delivery teams across the organisation. You will prioritise value for money and accessibility, effectively translating user and business needs into practical designs.
As an expert in your field, you will make recommendations on which services to stop, degrade, renew, or rebuild, and be responsible for maintaining the technical integrity and consistency of each solution throughout its lifecycle.

Experience
Proven experience delivering solution architecture designs, patterns, and decisions within an agile development environment. Extensive knowledge of relevant technologies, tools, platforms, best practices, industry trends, and risks. Strong understanding of modern technology practices including infrastructure, hosting, platforms, and integration.

Qualifications
Relevant professional qualifications or equivalent experience in solution architecture or related fields are expected. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with technology trends is essential.
