About the Role
At Burberry, creativity opens spaces and drives us to push boundaries and unlock new possibilities. We are seeking a skilled Sourcing Coordinator to support the seasonal placement and delivery of finished goods within the Childrenswear product category. This role is key to bringing collections to life by ensuring products are delivered to the right quality, at the right time, and at the right cost. You will work closely with vendors, Product Development, Technical, Quality Assurance, and Customer Operations teams to coordinate the end-to-end sourcing process with care, precision, and pace. Through strong organisation and thoughtful partnership, you will contribute to the craft, consistency, and commercial performance of Burberry’s supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate seasonal vendor communication including production calendars, unit plans, minimums, and key milestones, working with the Sourcing Manager to resolve challenges. Manage raw material bookings, call-offs, and purchase order activity to support production needs aligned with delivery schedules. Maintain accurate seasonal order information, vendor costs, and delivery updates across relevant systems including PLM. Partner with Product Development, Technical, and Quality Assurance teams to support critical sign-off dates and resolve quality or production issues. Analyse seasonal pricing, margins, vendor performance, and pre-buy versus actual requirements to highlight risks and opportunities. Support consistent ways of working across sourcing teams including weekly production updates, workload prioritisation, and guidance for Sourcing Assistants where required.
Experience
Experience in sourcing, production, manufacturing, or a related supply chain environment, ideally within fashion, luxury, retail, or consumer goods. Strong understanding of costing, negotiation, production calendars, and retail maths. Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; SAP or PLM experience is beneficial.
About you
Clear and considered communicator able to build trusted relationships with vendors and cross-functional partners. Highly organised and detail-focused with the ability to manage priorities and follow through on actions. Collaborative and adaptable with a practical approach to solving problems and supporting seasonal change.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications required; however, relevant experience and skills in sourcing and supply chain management are essential.
