About the Role
International Financing Review is seeking a hardworking and capable journalist to report on the European structured finance markets and uncover what makes them tick. You will reveal the latest developments and themes in securitisation markets in real time by mining a wide range of established contacts and sources while developing your own. Whether uncovering revealing details in complex financial documents or breaking relevant news with source-based scoops, you will provide structured credit professionals with previously unknown facts and insights that give them an edge over the competition. This role requires comfort in sifting through regulatory filings and engaging with senior bankers, investors, traders, finance directors, and lawyers. You will also support the credit team's coverage across all capital markets asset classes.

What You'll Be Doing
Writing and packaging stories with accuracy and speed in line with journalistic principles and operating standards. Capturing information to break news, including exclusives, beats, and insightful analysis pieces. Building and maintaining a comprehensive list of industry contacts. Developing your expertise to become an authority on structured credit and adjacent markets. Interacting with clients and colleagues to shape coverage. Acting as a journalistic mentor to colleagues.

Experience
Reporting experience in a news environment. Knowledge of structured credit or other capital markets asset classes.
