About the Role
The purpose of a Sub-Agent is to assist the main Agent in managing specific areas or elements of a construction project. You will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, and supervision of construction works, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Your role includes overseeing construction trades, managing resources, conducting inspections, and resolving quality issues. You will ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintain communication with stakeholders, and provide regular updates on project progress. Key responsibilities include ensuring all operations are properly planned with detailed method statements and risk assessments, implementing and maintaining safe systems in line with SHE management policies, and acting as Emergency Person in Charge (PIC) during shifts. You will also contribute to safety initiatives, monitor environmental impacts, liaise with departments such as procurement, survey, safety, quality, consents, and SRG to meet deadlines and budgets, and support the development and succession planning of your team. Maintaining good working relations with clients, designers, supervisors, and the supply chain is essential, as is monitoring work to promptly address unsafe conditions and non-compliance.

Experience
- At least 3 years’ experience as a site engineer or section engineer
- Experience managing teams and supporting staff development
- Ability to identify and address design errors or construction issues
- Familiarity with civil engineering methods and construction procedures
- Understanding of PIC incident response

- Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or relevant field
