Role: Sustainability and Procurement Reporting Manager | Salary: £61,865 - £65,121 | Location: Farringdon | Permanent Full-time About the role: As a member of the Procurement Team, you will report to the Senior Sustainability & Supplier Engagement Manager and you will work towards organisational excellence to create & implement a data strategy to support all Procurement, Commercial, Sustainability and Supplier Relationship data requirements, enabling data-driven, commercial decision-making, and uphold & increase regulatory compliance. Working with the wider Procurement team, you will leverage our spend & expenses data, contract performance, compliance metrics & Sustainability reporting more effectively, providing insight to assist in commercial decision making, deliver regulatory & policy compliance, and support Category Management & Sustainability strategies to evidence VFM and progress against our Sustainable Action Plan. Furthermore, you will work to develop our current data capability to maximise value and take the lead on managing the relationships with our external, sustainability, contract, and supplier management platforms to ensure we always meet our regulatory obligations and apply best practice. Collaborating with Treasury & Finance colleagues, wider IT and data teams at MTVH and other third-party resources (eg: G15 counter-parts), you will develop collaborative opportunities to minimise duplication and maximise best-practice sharing. By developing new reports & dashboards, you will maximise our reporting capabilities with specific focus on the New Procurement Act 2024 and the Sustainability Action Plan. What you'll need to succeed: You will have sound knowledge of Procurement in the public sector and be aware of how data drives insight and makes a positive contribution to improved commercial decision making and increased compliance. You will have in-depth experience of data analysis and manipulation in a regulated and/or commercial environment and strong examples of how you have driven efficiencies using automation & innovation. You will be adept at data manipulation and have strong experience of building meaningful reports and dashboards to support teams to improve commerciality and compliance. We also expect the qualifications/technical competencies (or equivalents) as specified below: Degree level qualification with knowledge and ideally experience/demonstrable interest in Procurement and Sustainability. Procurement knowledge in the following areas would be advantageous: statistical and data analysis skills, knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies, change management, compliance and regulatory requirements, knowledge of supply chain theory, persuading and influencing and interpersonal skills, business accounting, stakeholder engagement, supplier engagement. Demonstratable experience of transforming data. Experience building and maintaining dashboards in PowerBi. Understanding of Oracle systems.
