About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting young minds and making a real difference in the classroom? We’re looking for a dedicated, energetic, and caring Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team! In this role, you will identify strategies to help overcome individual pupils’ barriers to learning, use humour and restorative practice to ensure a child-centred approach, support the transition of new pupils, provide in-class support, liaise with staff to monitor pupils’ behaviour and well-being, build positive relations with parents/carers, and communicate specific support in place for their child.

Who are we?
Brookways School is an independent specialist day school in North Cheam, London, designed with a state-of-the-art learning environment to meet the needs of young people with autism. We are part of Kedleston Group, specializing in providing education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Experience
Experience working with children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs including autism in an educational setting.
