About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting young minds and making a real difference in the classroom? We’re looking for a dedicated, energetic, and caring Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team! In this role, you will identify strategies to help overcome individual pupils’ barriers to learning, use humour and restorative practice to ensure a child-centred approach, and support the transition of new pupils arriving or existing pupils returning to school. You will provide in-class support as necessary to meet the needs of the school, liaise with other staff to monitor pupils’ behaviour and well-being, build positive relations with parents/carers to encourage family involvement in their child’s progress, and communicate with parents/carers about specific support in place for their child.

Experience
Experience working with children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs including autism in an educational setting.
