About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting young minds and making a real difference in the classroom? We’re looking for a dedicated, energetic, and caring Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team!
Please note there are currently 2 positions available:
1 - Maternity Cover on a fixed term contract until January 2027.
1 - Fixed term contract until October 2026.

What you’ll be doing:
- Identify strategies to help overcome individual pupils’ barriers to learning
- Support pupils in line with their Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and contribute to reviewing and updating these
- Use humour and restorative practice to ensure a child-centred approach
- Support the transition of new pupils arriving or existing pupils returning to school, putting the necessary support in place to overcome any barriers to learning
- Provide in-class support as necessary to meet the needs of the school
- Liaise with other staff to monitor pupils’ behaviour and well-being
- Build positive relations with parents/carers to encourage family involvement in their child’s progress
- Communicate with parents/carers about specific support in place for their child

About Kedleston Group and Arc School Napton
Opened in 2008, Arc School Napton offers primary provision in a small school setting within the Warwickshire countryside. Learning by stage, not age, our pupils are placed in classes that allow them to effectively access learning delivered in the most appropriate way for their needs. Pupils of all primary ages are welcome, with a dedicated area for EYFS and KS1 pupils staffed by adults experienced in supporting younger children.
Arc School Napton is part of Kedleston Group, specialising in providing specialist education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
