About the Role
Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys keeping things running smoothly? As a Technical Services Coordinator at Peabody, you will be an integral part of a busy Facilities team, responsible for maintaining the look, feel, and safety of our corporate estate. Your role will involve carrying out minor repairs and maintenance, completing planned preventative maintenance tasks such as PAT testing and water checks, and conducting regular building inspections to ensure compliance and presentation standards. You will support landscaping and decoration efforts to keep properties looking their best, respond promptly to helpdesk requests, and assist with fire marshal duties, first aid, and out-of-hours site support. Additionally, you will help with moves, portering, and room setups, escalate out-of-scope works, and contribute ideas for service improvements. This role offers a visible impact on the quality and safety of our buildings and requires a proactive and practical approach to facilities management.

Experience
- Experience in a facilities or property support role
- Solid understanding of basic maintenance and fabric repairs

About you
- Strong customer service skills with a proactive attitude
- Ability to work flexibly including out-of-hours support on a rota basis
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations including fire, legionella, and asbestos
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and maintain accurate records

Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence (required as you will be driving a company van)
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent (desirable)
- Legionella Awareness or other statutory compliance training (desirable)
- This role requires a Basic DBS check
