About the Role
This role is based within the Airport division, ensuring that all JCDecaux assets are posted, cleaned, and maintained to the highest standards across Heathrow Airport. The Technician will report to the Operations Manager and must conduct all activities in accordance with JCDecaux and Heathrow’s health, safety, quality, and sustainability procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Install advertising displays at both high and low levels within various terminals and areas across the Heathrow estate.
- Fully clean all JCDecaux assets inside and outside all terminals.
- Ensure all digital and non-digital assets are well maintained, safe, and clearly displaying digital content.
- Undertake all required repairs to JCDecaux assets.
- Report all faults and deficiencies across the estate.
- Demonstrate flexibility and proactiveness within the wider Airport team.
- Provide the operations night manager with reports following weekly inspections.
- Complete all required training courses.
Technical Duties
- Correctly use the supplied PDA to complete job completion and photographic evidence.
- Demonstrate correct use of MEWP and other operating machinery.
Health and Safety
- Work within Health & Safety guidelines and safe systems of work.
- Immediately escalate all accidents, hazards, and near misses to the operations night manager.
- Complete all H&S forms (FRM080 & FRM110) within allocated timeframes.
- Maintain and report defects, always wearing the correct protective clothing (PPE) required for each task.
Other Responsibilities
- Report actual and suspicious behaviour immediately to Heathrow security.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of company vehicle and tools.
- Complete daily vehicle checks through the company application.
