About the Role
The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) Property Directorate manages one of the most diverse and complex estates in Government, including prisons, probation services, MoJ HQ, and Arm's Length Bodies. The Directorate provides specialist services such as facilities management, health and safety, fire safety, security, technical design, and sustainability. As part of the Government Property Profession (GPP), the Directorate is committed to developing professional capability through training and recruitment.
The Training Facilitator role sits within the People and Change team of the Property Transformation Programme. This team leads the implementation of the People Strategy, addressing resource and capability gaps, and delivering consistent training across HMPPS and MoJ HQ functions. The role involves developing and delivering engaging, learner-centred training sessions that enhance staff capability and performance to meet programme objectives.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with subject matter experts to design and update training materials, delivering interactive training both virtually and in person, adapting delivery to different learning styles, organising training events, assessing learner understanding, providing feedback and post-training support, and advocating continuous professional development.
Experience
- Proven experience in developing training products and facilitating training across complex subject areas.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to adapt communication style to connect with diverse audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of learning theories and methodologies.
- Active listening and coaching skills.

Qualifications
