Location
Our central office in Islington, just a 10 minute walk from Highbury & Islington station. Hybrid working, with a minimum of two days a week spent in the office or at one of our services, along with regular travel to various sites across both inner and outer London. Please note step free access is not available at our central office and some other service locations.

Hours
12 month fixed term contract, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00. You may be required to work outside these hours and days as needed.

£30,900 per annum

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Training Facilitator to join our Talent Development team, part of the wider People and Culture function at Social Interest Group (SIG). In this role, you will lead specialised training programmes from identifying learning needs to designing and delivering engaging sessions for our staff, residents, participants, and external partners. Whether in person or online, no two days are the same. Key subject areas include de-escalation, conflict management, team building, grief and bereavement, housing/independent living, employability, confidence and self-esteem, and resilience.

Responsibilities include supporting the full training cycle from research to planning, delivery, record keeping, and managing administration; understanding care staff needs to support them while creating a positive experience for staff, residents, and external stakeholders; bringing information to life by ensuring it is engaging, inclusive, and promotes safeguarding and a positive learning culture; adapting content and delivery style to suit diverse learners, identifying skills gaps, and implementing feedback for continuous improvement; and delivering training sessions across various locations including inner and outer London and other UK sites.

Requirements

Experience
Relevant knowledge and experience within a similar organisation and training portfolio. Skilled in managing multiple projects and training schedules in a fast-paced environment.
