About the Role
Are you compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting young people? We’re looking for a Waking Night Care Worker - Children and Young People to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive! You will play a crucial role in supporting the children’s needs overnight, ensuring their safety, well-being, and security in line with our policies and procedures. You will also assist in providing general care and support, while maintaining a secure and supportive environment. Your responsibilities will include staying awake during night shifts, providing constant supervision of the home, helping build their confidence, independence, and life skills, working closely with a team to provide emotional and practical support, regularly checking the security of the building, ensuring all children are accounted for, assisting with bedtime routines, helping the children wake up and get ready in the morning, and ensuring every child feels valued and heard.
Experience
Experience working with children and young people with complex and mental health needs is preferred.
