About the Role
The Young People’s Education & Skills Team is responsible for increasing participation in education, employment, and training for 16–18-year-olds and up to 25 for learners with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The team also works to reduce the number of young people who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET). We are seeking a skilled and motivated Young Peoples Specialist Commissioning Officer to join our team. You will have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people, build and maintain strong working relationships, and demonstrate experience working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and partners. You will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities while ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of key statutory performance data to various government departments, including the Department for Education (DfE).
