About the Role
The North America Casualty team in London specialises in placing complex umbrella and excess liability programmes for some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated companies. Working closely with colleagues across Willis’ North American network, the team combines deep technical expertise, data-led analytics, and strong London market relationships to deliver innovative risk transfer solutions across a broad range of industries. From programme design and placement strategy through to claims advocacy and market negotiation, the team supports U.S. clients’ risk management objectives while providing exposure to global clients, insurers, and brokers.

As an Account Executive, you will support a portfolio of large, complex clients within the North American Casualty team, working across both Property and Casualty (Re)Insurance lines. You will assist in business planning and contribute to shaping the overall Global Strategy for the group. The remit spans Insurance and Reinsurance Lines of Business covering large and complex single risks, facilities, and reinsurance (proportional and non-proportional).

Your responsibilities will include placement management, supporting brokers in negotiation and placement of complex liability insurance programs, preparing underwriting submissions in coordination with US colleagues, and managing renewal market presentations and negotiations. You will optimise revenue from new and existing clients, ensure compliance with FCA and contract certainty requirements, and maintain transparency of agency commitments.

In addition, you will develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects, grow relationships with US retail network and client servicing teams, respond to client service requirements, and identify cross-selling opportunities. You will deliver tailored solutions by understanding clients’ business and risk management needs, manage changes in client circumstances, liaise internally to maintain a consistent approach, and provide technical and subject matter expertise.

You will also communicate effectively with clients, markets, and internal teams to maximise service delivery, maintain knowledge of internal and industry systems, ensure timely premium payment flow, and support peer Account Executives and Brokers through timely administration of client accounts.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team with significant opportunities for growth and development in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
