About the Role
Join the Studios Production Central Finance Team as an Accountant, playing a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting support across the business. You will provide meaningful financial insight, help strengthen financial controls, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support effective decision-making and contribute to the success of Productions Finance. You will work with a broad range of stakeholders, contribute to projects that improve processes and controls, and gain valuable exposure to reporting, forecasting and budgeting activities. Your Key Responsibilities and Impact
Deliver accurate monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and insightful commentary for a range of stakeholders. Support the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, helping to develop robust financial plans and analysis. Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify processes and enhance the service provided by the wider Productions Finance Team. Support the ongoing development and enhancement of financial controls, processes and reporting methodologies to improve efficiency and compliance. Contribute to the implementation of ICFR-related processes and help maintain a strong and effective controls environment.
Experience
Proven experience delivering a high-quality accounting and reporting service. Experience working with financial systems and reporting tools, including SAP and Analysis for Office (AFO).
About You
Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with the Embedded Finance Team and a variety of stakeholders. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and support the team during busy periods. A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, SUMIFs, pivot tables and data analysis techniques.
