About the Role
As Internal Communications Lead at BBC Studios, you will work across the business to ensure communications are aligned to our mother story and strategic priorities. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will lead high-impact communications that inform, engage and connect employees through key announcements, leadership communications, campaigns and events.

This is an opportunity to play a central role in shaping how BBC Studios communicates with its people. Working closely with senior leaders across a global business, you will influence business-critical communications, drive engagement through major campaigns and events, and help evolve our communications channels, approach and impact.

Your key responsibilities include leading and delivering internal communications campaigns and projects that align with BBC Studios' strategy and engage the right audiences; partnering with senior leaders and stakeholders to shape, advise on and execute high-impact communications; creating compelling content and messaging across multiple channels ensuring clarity, consistency and strategic alignment; planning and delivering major announcements, town halls, leadership events and employee engagement initiatives; driving continuous improvement through audience insight, measurement and optimisation of communications channels and approaches; supporting business continuity, change and crisis communications to protect and strengthen organisational reputation; and building strong relationships across BBC Studios and the BBC, while coaching colleagues and deputising for the Head of Internal Communications when required.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven experience leading high-profile internal communications campaigns and projects within a complex organisation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, advise and build credibility with senior leaders.
- Experience supporting large-scale change, transformation or organisational programmes through effective communications.
- Demonstrated experience planning and delivering events, leadership communications and employee engagement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of digital communications channels, social media and communications measurement, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience operating in international and commercial environments, managing multiple priorities, coaching others and building strong relationships across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.

A strategic, proactive and self-sufficient communicator who can work effectively with senior leaders and diverse teams. You are able to translate complex information into clear, engaging messages for a variety of audiences and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You have excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills and a passion for driving engagement and continuous improvement in communications.

Qualifications
