About the Role
Join BBC.com’s growing creative team and help bring world-class journalism, storytelling and products to life through bold design and motion graphics. Working across subscription marketing, audience engagement and content promotion, you'll create impactful creative assets that support growth, retention and discovery across global audiences. You will collaborate closely with marketing, editorial, product and creative colleagues to deliver standout graphic design that brings BBC stories, products and campaigns to life across digital, social, video and CRM channels.

Your key responsibilities include creating standout graphic and motion design, applying motion graphics to increase engagement, turning creative briefs and audience insights into compelling visual storytelling, developing storyboards and animations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, presenting and refining creative work, and embracing emerging technologies and AI tools to innovate while maintaining BBC brand integrity.
Experience
Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Digital Designer or Motion Designer, ideally within media, publishing, digital products or other content-led organisations. A strong portfolio demonstrating digital campaigns, motion graphics, animation and visual storytelling. Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. Strong motion graphics and animation expertise, creating engaging content across digital, social and marketing channels. Experience developing creative assets for web, social media, video, CRM and performance marketing campaigns. Excellent understanding of design principles including typography, branding, layout, visual hierarchy and audience-focused storytelling. Strong communication, collaboration and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
