The LFU encourages Enterprise working across the BBC and constantly innovates to drive revenue and reduce costs, offering many opportunities for professional development.

Your Key Responsibilities and Impact

- Review all media plans in collaboration with outsourced media planning and buying agencies.
- Ensure best overall ROI for campaigns based on analysis.
- Employ Enterprise working within the LFU, across BBC divisions, and with suppliers, ensuring all activity is operationally supportable, legally compliant, and meets BBC Editorial Guidelines.
- Contribute to strategic planning by understanding business priorities and using campaign insight, post-campaign analytics, and data analysis.

Requirements

Experience
- Senior-level experience developing new and effective marketing strategies, likely gained in a large organisation with regulatory oversight.
- Proven track record delivering complex marketing campaigns across multiple channels including direct, digital, social, and influencer media.
- Experience working with outsourced teams and practising Enterprise working within an organisation.
- Ability to manage complex matrix environments with shared responsibilities.
- Proven significant budgetary responsibility in a large-scale marketing organisation.
- Ability to present to senior stakeholders to achieve buy-in.

About You
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Embraces change and manages critical stakeholder relationships.
- Self-reliant, resilient, and proactive.
- Good negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills.

Desirable
- Experience translating audience insights and analytics into marketing plans and effective campaign briefs.
- Direct marketing experience including Direct Mail, Email, and SMS.
- Digital marketing experience including Paid and Owned media across Display, Search, Social, ECRM, and Influencer channels.
- Experience across TV, Radio, Digital, and Podcasts.
