You will act as the editorial lead for one or more social media accounts within BBC Studios Audio, delivering a coherent and consistent social media experience that maximises engaged reach with target audiences, ensures high creative quality, meets commercial objectives for sponsors and advertisers, and drives traffic around the BBC Studios Audio commercial portfolio.

The Audio Unit’s mission is to create and deliver compelling, premium audio to a broad global audience.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with audio production teams to develop, produce, film, and edit long- and short-form video content around select podcasts; leading editorial publishing strategy across social channels; supporting and upskilling production teams in visual content creation; line managing a Digital Executive; building strong relationships with talent, influencers, brands, and internal stakeholders; using audience insights and performance data to inform strategy and drive continuous improvement; and ensuring all social activity complies with BBC editorial, advertising, and governance standards, including responsible AI use.
