Salary
£46,006 - £52,329 (dependent on experience) plus Social Work England fee reimbursement

We have a range of opportunities to work as a Social Worker across different teams in our adult social care service. Current vacancies include:
- Neighbourhoods Teams
- Hospital Teams
- Reviews Team
- Multi Agency Safeguarding Hubs (MASH)
- Weekend Social Workers – Hospital Teams (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and requires an Enhanced DBS check.

Requirements

Experience
Experience working as a qualified Social Worker is essential. You will have extensive knowledge and application of the legislative framework relating to Adults, including the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Health Act. Experience responding appropriately to unexpected events and crisis, recognising signs of harm, abuse and neglect, and managing these issues is required.

Experience working within integrated professional networks and managing your own workload and resources is expected.

You will be enthusiastic, passionate and committed to improving the wellbeing of people, their carers and the wider community. You will be dedicated to working with residents to build their resilience and achieve the quality of life they deserve.

You will have the skills to undertake assessments of risk, needs and capacity and work effectively within Neighbourhoods, MASH, Reviews or Hospitals Teams.

Qualifications
You must be a qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England (SWE), and have completed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE). Your SWE registration fee will be reimbursed.
