We are seeking a Senior Technical team member to join our UK Architectural Team, focusing on a diverse range of projects including Healthcare, Education, Transportation, and Mixed-Use development both locally and across the UK. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects for a growing and diverse client base within a highly creative and collaborative team committed to design excellence and innovative problem solving.
In this position, you will develop, coordinate, and lead the detailed design and construction phases of projects of varying sizes, delivering high-quality technical solutions. You will independently lead elements of complex projects as well as work collaboratively within a team. Responsibilities include detailed design development, producing working drawings, contract administration, on-site services, resolving complex technical and design issues, maintaining project documentation, conducting on-site inspections, processing change control requests, and addressing RFIs. You will also ensure adherence to quality management, environmental management systems, and health & safety procedures while promoting continuous development of systems and protocols. Additionally, you will support project programming, resourcing, financial reviews, and mentor junior staff members.
Experience
- Recognised architectural technology qualification or degree, ideally CIAT accredited
- Experience working on larger projects within a team and providing day-to-day technical leadership
- Exemplary Revit skills with experience on complex BIM Level 2 projects
- Proven ability to produce high-quality Revit outputs, strong technical knowledge of building detailing and construction
- Knowledge of building regulations, design standards, and best practice
- Healthcare sector experience is advantageous but not essential
