We are seeking Principal Consultants to join our growing and dynamic Advisory team, specialising in Procurement & Supply Chain. As part of a global community, our Procurement & Supply Chain Advisory capability helps some of the UK's largest organisations design, mobilise, and deliver complex investment programmes while maintaining operational excellence. We assist clients in making better procurement decisions, establishing effective supplier relationships, strengthening organisational capability, and realising value from their supply chains.

This role offers the opportunity to lead workstreams or small-to-medium sized commissions, providing strategic advice on complex procurement and supply chain issues. You will build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, lead workshops and stakeholder engagement activities, oversee diagnostic assessments and analytical workstreams, and translate complex issues into clear client recommendations.

You will also manage and coach Consultants and Senior Consultants, contribute to the development of new tools and methodologies, identify opportunities for follow-on work, support business development activities, and take responsibility for commercial performance across workstreams. Collaboration across Business Advisory and wider Arcadis teams is key to delivering integrated client solutions.

Experience across one or more of the following areas is highly relevant: Supply Chain and Procurement Strategy, Category Management, Contract and Commercial Advice, Market Engagement & Market Management, Supplier Relationship & Performance Management, Procurement Execution, Supply Chain Sustainability, Supply Base Resilience & Risk Management, Process Improvement and Digitisation, Procurement and Commercial Capability Transformation.

Experience within sectors such as Transport, Water & Energy, Industrial Manufacturing & Technology, and Real Estate & Development is desirable.

Experience
Proven track record advising clients or leading complex supply chain and procurement projects or major transformations. Experience in one or more of the following sectors is desirable: Transport, Water & Energy, Industrial Manufacturing & Technology, Real Estate & Development. Backgrounds may include management consulting (Big-4, Strategy, Boutique firms), engineering, cost & commercial consultancy, programme/project management, or client-side roles with transferable skills.

Strong leadership capability with commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management skills. Ability to develop trusted relationships with senior client decision-makers. Passionate about solving complex challenges and motivated to contribute to the growth of the Procurement & Supply Chain Advisory capability. Strong intellect and ability to articulate complex ideas persuasively. Collaborative mindset to work across teams and deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications
Relevant professional qualifications or equivalent experience in procurement, supply chain, or consultancy disciplines are desirable. Commitment to continuous professional development and contribution to the development of new tools, methodologies, and propositions within the advisory capability.
