About the Role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey. As an Assistant Digital Engineering and BIM Manager, you will support the Delivery Team throughout the project lifecycle by advising, innovating, understanding, developing, and implementing processes described within the ISO19650 series, including how information is produced and assured for digital delivery.

You will communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders while developing an understanding of ISO19650 and applicable client standards. Ensuring security protocols are followed for viewing and issuing information on all projects and monitoring digital handover to completion will be key responsibilities.

Additional duties include participating in industry events to stay current with BIM developments, reviewing and researching technology solutions to improve BIM processes, supporting construction sequencing strategy using information models, and assisting with governance and assurance processes.

You will also support the preparation of cost plans from information models, object library development aligned with the wider BIM Strategy, and the development of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and Information Requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR, and EIR) as per ISO 19650. Supporting the production of information standards, methods, procedures, and shared resources, as well as assisting during the production of the Information Model (Pre-RIBA Stage 3 only), will be part of your role.

Understanding and performing in line with the Information Management Assignment Matrix (from Table A.1 of BS EN ISO 19650-2), upskilling client teams, Mace project managers, and design teams through BIM knowledge sharing sessions, and collaborating with Mace PM and Design teams on procedural elements and compliance with the Mace Way are essential.

Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and sharing responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery is a core value.

Mace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates. We are open to discussing part-time, flexible, and hybrid working options if suitable within the role.
