About the Role

Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey. This role supports London and South in delivering NEC Supervisor consultancy services. You will work alongside the Project Management and Building Surveying teams to deliver a pipeline of construction projects using the NEC suite of contracts. Supported by our Building Surveying team based in London, you will be responsible for delivering NEC Supervisor and site quality monitoring roles for central government departments.

The role requires a strong understanding of the NEC contract and the NEC Supervisor responsibilities. You will have a solid grounding in building technology including modern methods of construction (MMC). Key duties include reviewing works on site for adherence to design information, contract requirements, good working practice, and manufacturers’ recommendations. Collaboration with Engineers, Architects, Project Managers, and Client stakeholders is essential. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required, including the ability to access and report on online information platforms.

You will manage your own workload independently with a strong focus on safety and a good understanding of health and safety risks in construction. Experience reporting progress, compliance, and defects using traditional written reports and online platforms such as Asite and CEMAR is important. SC clearance is required for this role, and candidates who already hold this clearance will be preferred.

Experience
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts and NEC Supervisor role
- Solid grounding in building technology including modern methods of construction (MMC)
- Experience reviewing site works for compliance with design, contract, and safety standards
- Experience reporting progress, compliance, and defects using written reports and online platforms such as Asite and CEMAR
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload effectively

Qualifications
- Relevant construction degree or equivalent qualification
- NEC Supervisor Accreditation (desirable but not essential)
- Chartered Building Surveyor, Engineer, or Architect status (desirable but not essential)
- SC Clearance (preferred but not essential)
