£86,652 - £108,462 per annum, plus an additional JNC financial benefits package of £3,503 per annum (pro-rata, April–March)
About the Role
Lead with purpose, drive change, and make a difference by shaping SEND services that support children and young adults in Southwark. In this key leadership position, you will provide expert guidance across inclusive education and SEND service areas, managing a significant budget and optimising service delivery for children and young adults aged 0-25 with special educational needs and disabilities. You will lead an experienced and ambitious team alongside one Assistant Director and three Heads of Service, all reporting to the Deputy Director of Children’s Services for Learning and Inclusion. The role involves building strong partnerships with schools, colleges, and voluntary organisations, and forging resilient relationships to enhance education and well-being. This is an opportunity to influence SEND services during a period of national reform within a positive and supportive working environment.
Experience
