About the Role
Are you passionate about providing strength-based social care that transforms the lives of children and young adults with learning disabilities? Do you want to make a positive difference in the lives of children and young adults with disabilities? If yes, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Social Workers to join our All Age Disability (AAD) team, delivering vital services to children and young adults aged 0-25 with learning disabilities and other complex needs.

In this role, you will carry out Care Act and Children and Families assessments, produce outcome-focused support plans and deliver interventions that safeguard and empower children and young adults. Our innovative 0-25 AAD model supports you to develop your practice across both adult and children’s legislation. You will benefit from small, supportive teams, manageable caseloads, comprehensive training, reflective group supervision, clinical advice and administrative support.

You will be part of a strength-based model that promotes independence, positive outcomes and the effective use of assistive technology.

This is a permanent position based at 132 Queens Road, London, SE15 2HP. An enhanced DBS check is required.

Requirements

Experience
Relevant experience in social work practice is required. Experience working with children and young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs is highly desirable.

You are a qualified and registered Social Worker with Social Work England. You possess the professional skills and personal attributes to guide families, navigate complex cases and champion the best outcomes for children and young adults. You are committed to working in a diverse community, applying a strength-based approach that puts individuals and families at the centre of your practice.

Qualifications
You must be a qualified and registered Social Worker with Social Work England. Additional qualifications related to disability or safeguarding are advantageous but not essential.
