Soulbury Assistant Educational Psychologist Scale/Point range 2 - 5, £38,607 - £43,115 (pro rata for part-time)

About the Role
We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Educational Psychologists (AEPs) to join the Educational Psychology Service in Waltham Forest. As an AEP, you will work alongside Senior Educational Psychologists, Educational Psychologists and Trainee EPs in their work with schools, parents/carers and multi-agency professionals. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of Experts at Hand to promote early intervention and preventative approaches that enhance children's development, learning and emotional well-being.

This role includes administrative responsibilities, data collection and analysis, resource development, and support for service projects and initiatives. A comprehensive induction and training programme will be provided, offering excellent professional development opportunities and strong preparation for applying to Educational Psychology Doctoral Training programmes.

Experience
Previous relevant experience of applying psychology to work with children and young people in educational or community settings is essential.

Qualifications
You must hold a good psychology degree (2:1 or above) and have Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society prior to application. This role requires satisfactory declaration of interest, a satisfactory DBS check, and the ability to speak fluent English sufficient for effective performance of the role.
