About the Role
The Assistant Manager, Data & Analytics Compliance will support the Data & Analytics (D&A) Business team as a trusted partner within the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). This role provides guidance and advisory support to the D&A Business and protects the LSEG brand, its products, and employees. The D&A Compliance team is part of the wider D&A division as well as members of the LSEG Legal & Compliance department. The Assistant Manager will ensure appropriate policy, processes, systems, and structures are in place to handle compliance with the business's legal and regulatory obligations.
This role supports the D&A Compliance & Legal team through various strategic projects and workstreams, including but not limited to jurisdiction analysis for required licenses, product/service assessment for regulatory scoping, regulatory authorization coordination, documentation of compliance policies and frameworks, regulatory risk management development, and operational resiliency readiness. The primary regulators for the D&A business include the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
The successful candidate will act as a business partner, providing advice regarding emerging business initiatives and regulations impacting LSEG customers. This role requires a proactive individual to improve effectiveness, strong communication and influencing skills, and the ability to enhance the compliance framework by introducing efficient and effective approaches.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining business relationships across D&A and LSEG, providing timely and effective advice.
- Participating in regulatory projects to ensure changes are embedded appropriately.
- Promoting and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Supporting regulatory relationship management with global regulators, including FCA, ESMA, and CBI.
- Maintaining relevant regulatory licenses and ensuring compliance with licensing obligations.
- Providing compliance advisory services and challenge while maintaining trusted business partner relationships.
- Signing off marketing and financial promotion materials for regulatory compliance.
- Supporting regulatory change projects and horizon scanning, including drafting consultation responses.
- Preparing management information reports and participating in governance forums.
- Managing compliance policies and governance, developing and updating regulatory policies.
- Assisting in compliance control reviews and remediation plans.
- Supporting internal and external assurance reviews and audits.
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive compliance monitoring and assurance programme.
- Liaising with business and Technology teams to embed policies and controls in workflows.

Experience
Preferably at least 4 years of compliance or relevant risk, regulatory, consulting, or business-related experience, ideally within a financial infrastructure or financial services firm. Familiarity with asset classes such as equities, foreign exchange, fixed income, commodities, and derivatives including forwards, futures, options, and swaps is desirable.

Qualifications
Experience in drafting policies, conducting regulatory analysis, and preparing reports for regulatory bodies and internal management. Strong proficiency in MS Office applications.
