As an Associate Commercial Manager, you will lead the delivery of cost management on rail-related projects, including HS2. You will be responsible for effectively utilizing resources to meet project standards in cost, time, and quality, leveraging your substantial technical knowledge and experience. You will manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for service improvement.

Your role will include leading, coaching, and developing team members to enhance cost management service delivery in the rail sector. You will create project costings and budgets, manage finances to achieve profit and budgetary targets, and ensure delivery standards meet client expectations. You will also analyse complex cost data, provide recommendations for project decision-making, and drive innovation in cost management to improve services and increase team contribution.

Building valued relationships with senior clients and stakeholders will be key to ensuring client satisfaction and identifying business opportunities within the rail sector. You will support the development of current cost and commercial management systems tailored to rail projects, assuring compliance with contracts and organizational policies related to cost control.

Experience
- Relevant professional experience delivering medium to large rail projects across the entire project lifecycle, including HS2.
- Extensive experience in cost and commercial management within the rail sector.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others in cost management roles.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
