As Associate Counsel, you will support the business (predominantly IMG, but also across TKO) by providing commercially sound advice on legal issues related to commercial and revenue-generating opportunities. You will work proactively with the legal team, both in London and internationally, to ensure best practices and knowledge are shared and utilized. Your role involves advising clients on terms that are robust and favourable to IMG/TKO, liaising with the business to provide commercial, pragmatic, and salient advice on opportunities and risks, and encouraging early involvement of the Legal team in commercial discussions.

You will assist with new projects as they arise and work across a mix of Media, Production, Brand Partnerships, and Events on a range of sports properties within IMG’s owned, managed, and commercially represented portfolio.

Occasional travel to other London offices will be required. There may be early or late calls to facilitate meetings with the global legal team, and some unsociable hours may be necessary to meet business deadlines.

Experience
- Fully qualified Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE
- Experience drafting general commercial contracts
- Experience working in a commercial environment
- Training in top tier legal practice
- Ability to quickly assimilate and understand key commercial points with accuracy
- Experience drafting media rights/production, sponsorship, supplier, and agency representation contracts is desirable
- Experience working with cultural and sports organisations is desirable
- Experience working with high-level executives in own and client/customer organisations is desirable
