About the Role
IMG, a leading global sports marketing agency and subsidiary of TKO Group Holdings, is seeking a Broadcast Event Engineer to support world-class live sports broadcasting and transmission services at major sporting events worldwide. This hands-on engineering role involves deploying, testing, and supporting transmission and connectivity solutions on-site, ensuring high-quality broadcast delivery for rights holders and broadcasters. The role demands practical technical expertise, a strong understanding of broadcast technology, and the ability to work in demanding environments. You will install, configure, and test fibre, network, and video transmission equipment, rack and commission technical equipment both in-house and on-site, build and repair engineering cabling, configure video encoding and decoding solutions, and troubleshoot broadcast and connectivity issues under live event conditions. Collaboration with customers, broadcasters, and production teams is essential, as is supporting IP-based video contribution and distribution workflows.

Experience

- Understanding of IP networking fundamentals
