About the Role
As an Audit Manager working across the Data, Privacy and Responsible AI portfolio, you will bring a deep understanding of Data and AI, focusing on frameworks, tooling and practices within Lloyds Banking Group. You will lead high-quality audits or elements of large audits with relative autonomy, leveraging your knowledge of business strategy, controls, and risks to provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of controls, frameworks and principles related to Data, Privacy and AI.

You will contribute positively to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of LBG's delivery of its Data & AI strategy.
Day to day, you will:
- Contribute to the audit plan and support the portfolio lead by project managing individual audits
- Support control testing and identify areas of concern, articulating potential challenges
- Build and support meaningful stakeholder relationships
- Proactively suggest and deliver improvements in compliance processes
- Conduct research considering multiple perspectives and external trends
- Actively role model the Group values and behaviours
- Coach and support your team, communicating expectations openly
- Share insight and provide timely, effective feedback to contribute to successful delivery and a positive impact on the function
Experience
- Proven experience leading audits end-to-end and engaging key stakeholders to deliver timely, impactful, and valued audit outcomes
- Understanding of data management, data privacy, AI and cloud technology concepts
- Experience in financial services, audit or risk is beneficial

- Ability to understand and interpret Group and Business Unit strategy, connecting audit delivery to business monitoring insights
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand, communicate and use data to drive effective audit outcomes
- Effective prioritization skills to ensure timely and value-added delivery
Qualifications
- Technical knowledge in Data Management frameworks, including data risks and controls, and familiarity with Data Management tools (e.g. Collibra)
- Knowledge of AI Governance Frameworks, laws and regulations, including intersections with data privacy laws
- Understanding of emerging AI technologies and practices
- Professional qualifications such as DAMA, CDMP or equivalent extensive work-based experience in relevant areas are desirable
