About the Role
The Savoy is one of the world's most iconic hotels, renowned for outstanding service excellence since 1889. As a Bartender at The Savoy, you will be an ambassador for exceptional service in our legendary bars, including the American Bar and the Beaufort Bar. The American Bar, the longest surviving cocktail bar in London, is famous worldwide for its classic and innovative cocktails and has hosted legendary figures such as Harry Craddock and Winston Churchill. The Beaufort Bar offers a glamorous, late-night atmosphere with creative cocktails, prestige spirits, and rare vintages in a dramatic jet-black and gold setting.

Your role is to deliver a memorable and professional 5-star beverage experience, sharing your passion for mixology and knowledge of our F&B offerings. You will work collaboratively as part of the bar and floor team, mixing drinks to the highest standards, assisting guests with menu choices, and contributing to the creative development of beverage menus across the hotel. You will uphold all safety, sanitation, and COVID policies to ensure a safe and luxurious guest experience.

Requirements

Experience
1-2 years bartending experience in a luxury environment is essential.

- Passionate about 5-star hospitality with a strong understanding of what it takes to deliver exceptional service.
- Empathetic with a talent for building rapport and reading guests’ desired level of interaction.
- Quick thinking, resourceful, and able to solve problems in the moment.
- Calm, courteous, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Collaborative team player.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Right to work in the UK.

Qualifications
Desirable qualifications include:
- Basic knowledge of POS systems.
- Basic knowledge of OpenTable.
- Industry-related certifications such as WSET.
