As a Biochemistry Lecturer, you will contribute to the teaching and development of Science subjects within our School of Science. This fixed-term role runs until 30 June 2027 and offers the opportunity to teach AS/A2, BTEC, and Higher Education courses, with Access Courses experience considered an advantage. You will play a key role in tutoring, assessing, recording, and tracking students across various courses, supporting their academic progress and success.

Experience
Proven experience teaching Science subjects, ideally Biology and Chemistry, across AS/A2, BTEC, and Higher Education levels. Experience with Access Courses is advantageous. Demonstrated ability in tutoring, assessing, and tracking student progress is essential.

Qualifications
A degree or equivalent qualification in a related area is required. You should be familiar with the current BTEC and A level curriculum. A recognised Level 4 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) is essential, or you must be willing to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification upon appointment.
