HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is responsible for the administration of criminal, civil and family courts and tribunals in England and Wales. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to develop your Business Analysis skills by supporting well-defined pieces of work within the Family digital service.

As a Junior Business Analyst, you will work under supervision and receive support from Senior Business Analysts. You will contribute to stakeholder relationship management and be involved in investigative work to identify operational needs, recommend service improvements, and support business solutions.

Your responsibilities will include working within agile frameworks, assisting with business modelling and process testing, supporting requirements definition and management, and contributing to user-focused digital service design. You will also gain experience in stakeholder engagement, testing business analysis outputs, and adapting to changes in technology within a government context.

This role is ideal for candidates looking to build practical experience in Business Analysis, working to clear direction and established delivery frameworks, while making a meaningful impact on the delivery of justice services.

- Understanding of core Business Analysis techniques and government digital service principles is advantageous.
- Commitment to comply with Civil Service values and behaviours including Working Together, Managing a Quality Service, Communicating and Influencing, and Making Effective Decisions.
