About the Role
Join Network Rail and be part of a team dedicated to keeping passengers and freight moving safely and efficiently across the country. As a Business Change Manager within the System Operator's Policy & Reform team, you will play a key role in the Access Reform Programme, working at the intersection of policy intent, operational reality, and industry delivery to modernise and improve access-related decisions.
Your day will involve creating clarity, alignment, and momentum across a complex set of stakeholders and perspectives. You will shape and deliver stakeholder engagement plans, lead cross-functional sessions to build shared understanding and move groups towards decisions, and translate technical, operational, and policy details into clear, relevant messages tailored to different audiences.
You will prepare senior leaders for key conversations by distilling complex information into actionable insights, act as the connective tissue between internal and external partners to maintain trust, and proactively manage stakeholder risks to avoid delays or friction. This role suits someone who enjoys making complex topics understandable and actionable, and who is confident working in sensitive, high-profile, and time-critical environments.
Network Rail values clear thinking, plain-English communication, pace with purpose, collaborative working across organisational boundaries, and a supportive, inclusive culture where people can do their best work. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements are considered, alongside generous annual leave and a range of benefits.
