About the Role
Fixed Income Primary Markets is responsible for the London Stock Exchange’s markets supporting 1,300 global borrowers across over 60 countries, raising $500-600 billion annually. The division’s International Securities Market and Sustainable Bond Market have been key growth drivers. This role focuses on business development within the Financial Institutions Group (FIG), managing a pipeline of global borrowers and overseeing sales and after-sales processes. You will build and maintain relationships with FIG issuers, bankers, law firms, and advisors involved in debt issuance transactions, attending industry events and conferences to grow LSE’s business.
The role requires close collaboration with colleagues across product, marketing, regulations, government relations, compliance, operations, structured finance, FX, and Data & Analytics teams to create efficient markets and deliver client solutions. Key thematic areas include sustainable finance, Islamic finance, local currency finance, project and infrastructure bonds, structured finance, emerging capital markets technology, and development finance.
Reporting to the Head of Fixed Income Origination, Capital Markets (NYC), you will be responsible for global business development of bank and insurance product listings, including senior debt issuance, regulatory capital instruments, securitisation, and structured products. You will proactively promote client engagement, conduct market research and competitive analysis, assist with internal and ad-hoc reporting, and represent LSEG at global industry events to position the Exchange as a premier Fixed Income listing venue and thought leader in debt capital markets and structured finance.

Experience
Previous experience in Debt Capital Markets or investment banking through roles in debt and/or leveraged finance, high-yield issuance, DCM origination, syndications, transaction management, credit analysis, or treasury.
Strong knowledge of fixed income markets and capital market issuance processes.
Proven ability to build and manage client relationships in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
Experience working independently and proactively managing a pipeline of FIG issuers.
Previous investment banking experience and an established industry network are highly desirable.
